Several years ago I published a monograph titled, “Kellar’s Egyptian Hall: America’s Premier Temple of Illusion,” in a limited edition which quickly sold out to magic collectors and historians. Instead of republishing it, I have created a PDF of the monograph for reader’s enjoyment. The original manuscript was printed in black and white. Now with scanning capability and the Web, this new version includes color images of Kellar’s theater, his posters, equipment, and other related memorabilia. Plans are also underway for a revised and updated version of my monograph on Frederick Eugene Powell, that will also feature color images and loads of memorabilia on this Philadelphia native.
