Houdini

If not the world’s greatest magician, Houdini was certainly the world’s greatest self-promoter.

The following account of Houdini in Philadelphia was written by the noted magician, author, and ghost-writer for Thurston, Houdini and Blackstone, Walter B. Gibson. In the piece, Gibson details Houdini’s performance in the city in 1926, the last year of his life.
